Taking selfies most times can raise some questions about the accuracy of the pictures when you compare them with your look to people and how you see yourself when you stand in front of a mirror. More often than not, I have seen people complaining about a certain part of their faces becoming more enlarged anytime they take selfies. The problem is that when you place the phone camera or any type of camera very close to you, for example, let say five inches; it makes your nose look 30 percent larger than it looks in reality.
However, I have seen people disproving that, saying selfies are accurate, just that you need to place the camera a few distances away from you, and you won't notice anything like face distortion. The truth here is that, when a camera is placed close to something, it magnifies anything that points out, like the nose on human's faces
