Aside from the general knowledge that the whole world is surrounded by water, the proportion of this water is not the same for every country. Some countries have water in abundance while some are battling with scarcity of water. Although water can be of two types, but freshwater is mostly appreciated by human beings because of its numerous benefits to us. It is present in form of lake, caps, rivers, glaciers and others.
However, the country that has the most amount of water is Brazil. Brazil is considered to be the country with the highest volume of renewable freshwater with the total amount going to about 8,233 cubic kilometers. Brazil alone, houses about 12 percent of the world's freshwater resources. Also, about 70 percent of freshwater in Brazil is from the amazon region of Brazil. However, there are still some places, mostly rural area in Brazil that lack access to freshwater.
