Finding peace of mind is something that can be hard to do in this fast-paced life that we live in right now. One thing that I have learned, though, is that I can be more at peace when I am not at war with anybody, including myself. I do not want to argue with people who are not worth my time; I choose my own battles.
If I feel that something or someone is worth defending, that is the only time when I will make an effort to try to change someone’s mind. Most of the time, I am just at peace with myself, knowing that I am not doing anything wrong to anyone. That is the peace of mind. When I am able to finish all of my work on time, and I still have enough time for myself or for the people I love, that is the peace of mind that I want. To maintain this, I would continue keeping a schedule, and I will continue trying my best only to become triggered by people who matter.
