When you have wonderful brothers and sisters as siblings, and you are able to maintain a good relationship with them, then you will always be respected. Most times, things really don't work out between siblings due to a lot of factors. I won't discuss those factors, but how do you maintain a healthy relationship with your siblings?
The first thing to know is that your siblings are your family, and you should treat them in a way that reflects their position in your heart. Always get in touch with them. Let them feel loved, and they should always be glad that they have you as their brother or sister. Love them equally; don't refer to any of them as your best, don't act it and don't say it out. You should try as much as possible not to be judgmental. You are not the one to decide who is brilliant and the dull ones among them; you should only encourage them to get better in their education.
Having a healthy relationship with your siblings is essential because this will make sure that you will maintain peace at home during your growing up years. When you start to become older and wiser, you will probably leave home, but your bond may remain strong. It will allow you to have someone to talk to whenever you have problems, and you feel that your friends will not be able to understand you.
Your siblings will probably try not to judge you too much or will still accept you even if they know that you have done something wrong. Having a good relationship with your siblings mean that you will have protectors who will do your best to protect you in different situations.
