WPS stands for Welding Procedure Specification and QPR stands for Procedure Specification Record. The WPS stands for the different documents that are needed to ensure that the company is doing the welding procedures by following the standards that have been set by the government or a specific organization. The QPR is also a similar document but this will show that your company can produce the needed welds in different mechanical properties.

WPS stands for Welding Procedure Specification and QPR stands for Procedure Specification Record.
These documents are needed to ensure that the company is a trusted company that will provide the welding needs by following the given rules and specifications. Take note that WPS is considered to be the more important document between the two.
