Aluminum bottles are fashioned from bauxite mineral ore, while plastic bottles are made from petroleum. Plastic bottles are more significant in their standard size than aluminum bottles (12 oz to 20 oz). Plastic bottles have lids that can be replaced while aluminum bottles cannot be resealed after opening for use. It is more efficient to recycle aluminum bottles than plastic.

Aluminum bottles keep liquids colder for longer hours than plastic bottles and will also endure hard use a lot more than plastic bottles.
