An analog signal is a continuous wave that changes over some time. A digital signal is a distance wave that carries information in binary form. An analog signal is denoted by a sine wave, whereas square waves represent a digital wave, and an analog signal has no fixed range.
A digital signal has finite numbers, i.e., 0 and 1, while an analog signal is more given to distortion. A digital signal is less inclined to distortion. An analog signal conveys data in the form of a wave, and a digital signal transports information in the binary form, i.e., 0 and 1, and the human voice is the best example of an analog signal.
