What does friendship day mean according to you?

According to me, friendship day is a special day, and not just because people are celebrating it around me but because of the significance of friendship to a man. Friendship is something everybody must be willing to make and keep because it gives you the chances to know other people. The best of decisions I have ever my made in my life are through the influence of my friends and those decisions ended up being the right ones.

When you make friends with people of like minds you will realize they are the greatest blessings of God to us most times. Friends are like our second parents because we can easily confide and share some things with them. I'm always of the opinion that friendship day should not be something we celebrate once in a year; we should try all we can to let our friends know how important they are to us.

Friendship Day, unfortunately, does not mean a lot to me. It is a holiday that I wasn’t aware of existing. It is not a very popular holiday in the United States. Therefore, I do not do a lot on that day, but now I feel that I will do more to celebrate it because I do believe that we should learn to appreciate our friends.

One way to do this would be to get together with friends and spend time with them on this day. You may already spend time with your friends every day, but it should be a time when you spend even more time with them. I believe it would be a good thing to create and make this day known more to others.
