We know of intel and AMD, which are two of the leading manufacturers of processors for personal computers. There are two processor lines from AMD, which are Sempron and Athlon. Sempron happens to be a budget level processor, which is actually designed to make provision for reasonable performance even at a lower price; while Athlon happens to be the flagship model of AMD which actually contains every whistles and bells that one would expect from something which can be referred to as ‘top of the line’.
Sempron makes provision for things that computers are used for nowadays, like gaming, word processing, email, and surfing the net. They can be done on the processor. Most times, you will see Athlon processors running faster than the Sempron processor, but you will also see this Sempron processor reducing the cost because it takes the measure of reducing cache memory. The older processors of Sempron do not have 64-bit capacity, but Athlons do.
