Forester and Outback are types of Subarus. The Forester is compact, and the Outback is a mid-size crossover. The Outback has more space and better for those who are taller and longer. Their styles also differ. The Forester has a rugged style, while the Outback is built like a station wagon.

The two have most of the same safety features like rearview cameras, brake assist, and all-wheel drive. A unique safety feature to the Forester is the knee airbag. One unique to the Outback is the curtain airbags on the front and driver seats. Forester is great for those that want to take trips, while the Outback is for those who go outdoors.
