There are so many differences between seminar and lecture. A seminar is simply a class held by a group of students to broaden their knowledge about advanced topics or courses under the supervision of a professor. A lecture, on the other hand, is a type of teaching and learning process in which a lecturer coordinates a class and impart the students with meaningful information about a particular topic. In a lecture, the professor is limited to an area of study, and students have the opportunity to ask questions.
In a seminar, all the students participating in the program come with different ideas, knowledge about the topic being discussed. In a lecture, students will be required to be jotting down as the professor is dictating the contents of the topic to them. In a lecture, there is no significant interaction between the students and the lecturer, while students have the chance to interact with one another during the seminar
