Nintendo 2DS and 3DS are two types of video game consoles from Nintendo. Nintendo 2DS and 3DS belong to the DS series of video game consoles from Nintendo. Both are handheld devices, and they share a lot of similarities. However, you can still notice some differences between them. Nintendo 2DS comes with a flat-screen that divides into two halves, and this effect is made through the plastic screen around the console. 3DS, on the other hand, has the same features with 2DS in terms of screen size but with the inclusion of hinges.

While Nintendo 3DS comes with a series of stereoscopic images on the top screen, Nintendo 2DS does not have at all. In terms of battery capacity, Nintendo 2DS has a higher battery capacity compared to 3DS. Nintendo 2DS is a little bit bigger than 3DS, and due to this, it is not portable enough to fit into the pocket, whereas 3DS is portable enough.
