We have all heard about so many reported cases of patients who died as a result of complicated lung-related problems and asthma. Generally, asthmatic patients are always advised to always go along with their inhalers. There are different inhalers available to patients to use. Examples are CFC and HFA inhalers. Both inhalers help asthmatic patients to breathe properly.
However, there are some differences between CFC and HFA. CFC is the short form of Chlorofluorocarbons, and it was the first made inhaler. However, the use of CFC was banned some few years ago after it was discovered that the use of CFC could result in a dangerous effect on the environment. First of all, CFC and HFA inhalers do not have the same chemical composition. While CFC inhaler contains chlorofluorocarbon, HFA inhaler contains hydrofluoroalkanes. In terms of performance, CFC inhalers are strong but can create a kind of discomfort in the lung, while HFA inhalers work slowly and gently.
