What is the difference between HorsePower and Torque?

There are so many things that should be put into consideration anytime you feel like buying a new car. Both horsepower and torque can efficiently describe how good a car is. However, there are some differences between them. Horsepower is used to determine how efficiently a car engine works in terms of power creation. The idea behind the use of strength is by equating the power output of a car with horses. Torque, on the other hand, is also a key factor that will tell how a car would accelerate. The force exerts on the ground by vehicles through their tires will determine how much the car would accelerate.
