OLED and AMOLED are both types of display technologies. OLED stands for Organic Light-Emitting Diodes. AMOLED stands for Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode. OLEDs are made of thin lights that are organic and emit light when the application of electricity occurs.
AMOLED is also this, but it is an advanced version of it because it has an extra layer of TFT, which is a thin-film transmitter. When it comes to their flexibility, AMOLEDs are more flexible than OLEDs. Another difference between them is the price. OLED's tend to be less expensive than AMOLED's. This is because AMOLED's include active technology.

OLED stands for “Organic Light Emitting Diodes.” Instead of semiconductors, it uses a sequence of thin organic films to produce rich and vibrant colors with much darker blacks AMOLED stands for “Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode.” AMOLED uses an active matrix system to control the flow of current to each pixel. OLED’s are made from thin organic light when current is passed through them.
AMOLED, on the other hand, is made from OLED’S itself but with an additional layer of thin film transitions. OLED displays deliver much deeper blacks. AMOLED displays are not quite visible in direct sunlight.
