What is the difference between Muppets and Sesame Street?

The Muppets are characters created by Jim Henson. Sesame Street is a television series that tries to educate children. The target audience for the show is preschoolers. Sesame Street makes use of Muppets, real actors, animations, and short films. Mr. Henson continued to add characters, so the number of Muppets increased with each passing year.
