Nachos is already considered to be a dish. It can be very simple with only melted cheese on top. Some can be very extravagant with their nachos. They add everything that they think will make the nachos taste better. They can add ground beef, onions, bell pepper, jalapenos, and tomatoes. The tortilla chip is the chips that are used to make nachos.

You can say that tortilla chips are plain chips that can be used for nachos. Tortilla chips can also be used for dipping. There are some who eat tortilla chips for their spinach dip while others would eat their tortilla chips with salsa. Tortilla chips are also easy to prepare. You are just required to cut the tortilla into triangles and fry them.
