Gloss products reflect the more, compared to the Satin products. It is simply because the gloss finishes have more sheen than Satin finishes. That's why it's seen that Satin finishes can be ultra-shining, but gloss finishes are very shinning. Gloss finishes can be left to rest even for two to three weeks, but Satin finishes are left the way they are after they're applied. Good quality gloss products are highly resistant to stains and can be easily cleaned or washed away, but good quality Satin products are less resistant to stains, and it will require more efforts to be cleaned or washed away.

Though Satin finishes are slightly durable, gloss finishes are very durable. Gloss products can practically be used in the kitchen, bathrooms, but Satin products are practically applied in the living room, bedroom, and family room. Generally, due to the earlier mentioned differences, gloss products and finishing are more expensive than Satin products and finishing.
