Meningitis and encephalitis are two conditions that are dangerous because they cause inflammation and is caused by bacteria mostly. Since both cause inflammation, it is a severe disorder, but they inflame different parts of the body. Meningitis causes the meninges to become inflamed, whereas encephalitis will cause a part of the brain to become inflamed. It seems that Meningitis may be more prominent and dangerous than encephalitis.

They do have many problems, including that they both can kill the patient. It doesn’t matter whether the patient has Meningitis or encephalitis because they are both life-threatening diseases. There are different types of Meningitis. There are viral Meningitis and bacterial Meningitis. There are also different types of encephalitis. Measles can cause a specific kind of encephalitis.
