If you have ever been a gardener, then you have probably dealt with seeds. You may have planted seeds or ovules to make plants grow. They will quickly grow if you take proper care of them by planting them in the ground, in good soil and giving it plenty of water. The ovule maybe a seed at one time, but it was not always a seed.
It developed into a seed. Both of these words are found in botany. The ovule becomes a seed after fertilization takes place. The seed is already fertilized. Another difference is each word’s part of speech. The ovule can only be a noun, but seed can be both a noun and a verb, to seed.
