In the field of project management, there are a few ways to conduct business. These things include several aspects of scheduling, executing, controlling, monitoring, and planning. Once these are done, then the goal should be met. However, there are two key ways to do that. The project manager can use the PERT technique, which stands for the Program Project Management and Review Technique.
This technique is often used when the goals have unknown deadlines. Then there is the CPM technique which stands for the Critical Path Method. When the project for a project manager takes place over and over again, then the CPM technique should be used. CPM is considered to be a deterministic model, and the probabilistic model is used by the PERT technique.
