Rugby League is said to be a quicker game because the ball does not get tied up as much in rucks and mauls. Rugby league does not use lineouts to restart play after the ball goes into touch only six tackles. In Rugby league, 4 points are awarded for a try, 2 points for a penalty or drop goal and 3 points for a conversion. In Rugby union, the teams have 15 players, 8 in the pack, scrum-half, and six backs. They have a line out and have a rolling tackle system. In Rugby union, 5 points are awarded for a try, 3 points for penalty or drop goal, and 2 points for conversion.
