Canada was created by the British North America Act, which is now known as the Constitution Act. It started on July 1, 1867.

The colonies of Canada are New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. They linked together this Canada in a process called confederation.

Canada is now a great nation with a great economy, and over 37 million people live there. It is also the fourth largest country by land area.

New Brunswick is presently one of the four Atlantic Provinces on the east coast of Canada. It is the only bilingual province in Canada.

Nova Scotia, which was also part of the formation of Canada, is now the eastern province in Canada, it is the most populated area over 923,598 and the second smallest province by area in Canada.
