Xanax is a trading name for Alprazolam. It is a type of medication that is primarily used to treat patients with anxiety. However, they are also used for other reasons, including for those cancer patients who get sick after undergoing chemotherapy sessions. There are side effects of taking Xanax, and they include depression, dry mouth, headaches, fatigue, and drowsiness.

Another drug that is the competition of Xanax is Ativan, which is sold by Lorazepam. It also is used to treat anxiety, but it also treats seizures and alcohol withdrawal. Therefore, the differences between Xanax and Ativan is that they are made by different companies and are two different drugs. Even though they are both used for the same primary purpose, they also help other disorders. They do not help the same minor disorders.
