Some people have assumed that torque and moment are the same things when actually, they are different from each other. Torque is stated as the change in the momentum of an object while it is the moment that is used to describe the one that is used in order to make sure that the object will be moved from one direction to another.

When the direction of an object is changed from left to right, this is considered to be a moment but if it the momentum of the object that is being changed, this is called a torque. Still, there are a lot of people who may become confused about this. Reading more about these two concepts help you understand further.
