You need to check the settings of your iTunes so that you can stop your iTunes from opening immediately especially when you do not want to use it. You can go to preferences then go to the Devices tab. You need to check the box that says prevent iPod, iPhone, and iPad from syncing automatically.

The moment that you do this, you will stop your iTunes from opening immediately when you turn on your laptop or whenever you use your phone. You know that it can always be frustrating to get iTunes to open up whenever you would connect it to your computer. Doing the action mentioned above will help stop this issue from happening.
