Some people become confused with the differences between chickenpox and shingles because they are caused by the same virus. Even so, the effect they will have on people will be different. Those who have chickenpox are usually children but even adults can get affected by this. This can come with fever, a rash that may become itchy, and some scabs that may cause some scars in the long run but will eventually fade away.
Shingles are the reactivation of the virus that caused chickenpox. This is considered to be a far more painful version of chickenpox. It does not have any known cure but to rest and make sure that you will get enough fluids in order to hydrate your body. This is a disease that is more common among adults.
