When something is said to be flammable, it means it can easily catch fire. On the other hand, when something is said to be highly flammable, the addition of the word 'highly' only shows how faster the item can catch fire. Highly inflammable materials have the chance of catching fire faster than flammable materials. Likewise, flammable substances cannot easily catch fire like the highly flammable substances. So, when some containers have flammable and highly flammable on them, it means the container can catch fire.

Flammable and highly flammable are two English words which are used to explain something that is subject to easy ignition and capable of burning. Liquid products that are highly combustible usually come with the warning that, they are flammable or highly flammable. Although, both flammable and highly flammable can be said to have almost the same meaning, but there are still some differences between them. When you see a product that has a part which says ''flammable'' or ''highly flammable'‘, it means the product can easily catch fire especially when you place it near fire.
