GED stands for General Education Development. It shows that a person tool a general test and pass. It shows that a person knows enough through the test results. It is considered equivalent to a high school diploma. GED is faster to complete, and it is commonly taken by people that have passed the high school age.
GED might also be limited in regions where it not accepted. It may not be accepted abroad. A Diploma shows that a person was able to go through high school. It is awarded when a person was able to pass the class. A diploma is accepted in the U.S and abroad.

A GED is also known as a General Equivalency Degree. This can be received by taking some tests and proving that you have received a high level of high school education. There are a lot of employers who will accept this as equal to a diploma. A diploma is what you will receive when you graduate to prove that you were able to pass the various subjects that you have tackled.
You should always remember that a GED cannot be compared to the college diploma which you get after you have finished a bachelor’s degree. But, it can be compared to a high school diploma. If you would be applying for the military, a high school diploma is required.
