The brain and the mind are not the same, although many people use them interchangeably. The brain is an organ of the body. It is a visible and tangible organ enclosed in the skull of vertebrates. The brain contains soft nervous tissue. It serves as the coordinating center of sensation, nervous, and intellectual activities.
Unlike the brain, the mind is invisible. It is the element that gives the ability to a person to be aware of their environment. It is the manifestation of emotions, thoughts, imagination, memory, and perception. There is no denying that there is a connection between the brain and the mind.
The brain is known to be a tangible portion of the body. This is the one that can be seen and can be studied by different people if necessary. This comes with different parts that will also come with varying functions. The mind is known to be the invisible portion of the brain.
This refers to the way that people think. It can refer to the thoughts and feelings that you may have on a certain subject. When people ask you what is on your mind, this usually means that the person wants to know what you are thinking about. You do not usually say, “What’ on your brain.” This will be more scientific because you have to be specific about what can be seen in your brain.
