What is the difference between HTML and Rich Text?

HTML is also known as HyperText Markup Language. This is the way that the different websites and the email templates are coded so that they will appear a certain way when they are viewed by visitors of the website or the email users. Take note that the Text that will be in HTML are usually formatted.

There are also specific images that can be placed along with the code so that they will appear correctly on screen. Rich Text is also known as Plain Text. It will not come with any formatting options. You cannot even change the font size or the font type that you will choose. It will just be effortless Text.
