A lot of people are not aware that the skin is the largest organ of the body. Some are not even aware that skin is an organ. Different glands are present. First is the apocrine glands which are in charge of indirectly secreting substances. The other type of kidneys is the eccrine glands, and this usually secretes through the duct. These glands are both responsible for the sweat that people typically have after exercising.

The sweat secreted by the eccrine glands can increase the rate of bacterial growth. The apocrine sweat may also come with the odor that is usually associated with sweat. The presence of bacteria can make the scent stronger.
