Pentecost is a Christian holiday that celebrates the period of time after Easter. Easter represents the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. During this holiday, people celebrate Easter by dying Easter eggs and then hiding them everywhere for children to find. Also, a person is dressed as an Easter bunny. There may be a large lunch of ham and other things to eat. After Easter is the period of Pentecost.
People don’t really do a lot to celebrate Pentecost. If you asked someone what they do to celebrate Pentecost, they would probably tell you nothing. Churches usually celebrate a little by decorating the churches with red and white which are the colors of Pentecost because the red represents the fire and the white represents the goodness.
