Do you have any Nicknames for each other?

We do have nicknames with each other, but I feel that the nicknames are private, or the meaning of the nicknames is funny, so I would rather not disclose what they are. My siblings and I usually create different nicknames for various people, too, especially when we want to talk about someone without making it obvious.

We know some names that only we will understand. It seems that siblings will also have some codes for different things that will let us know what we should do next to help a particular sibling out. Sibling relationships are special because there are some things that siblings share that other people will not understand.

My family and I have always had nicknames for each other. My nickname was a play on my own name because she couldn’t say the name. Usually, children give nicknames to their siblings as a sense of being silly or to show their love for them. However, over time, people usually start to hate their nicknames. They may have even hated their nicknames from the beginning when they first got their nicknames.

By the time, people get to adulthood, they will probably stop using their nicknames and begin going by their name that they were given at birth. There are certain reasons why someone would give their siblings a nickname and it would include something that happened or that they can’t say their sibling’s name.
