How will you spend your holidays?

My holidays will be spent at home and in the houses of my other relatives and friends. From where I live, Christmas is usually celebrated for a long time. I would like to make an effort to celebrate the holiday season with people who matter the most. It is usually the New Year when we leave our home to celebrate somewhere else.

For Christmas, we are perfectly happy and contented to celebrate at home. We plan the food that we are going to cook, and we make sure that we will have festive food available while we tell different stories. Then, we would open our Christmas gifts after.

I spend my holidays in different ways depending on the holiday. I will spend my holidays at Christmastime with family. We usually spend a few days together on Christmas day as long as everyone is in town. Then, we open presents and eat dinner together. On Father’s Day, I usually send my dad some brownies because that is what he likes best and he is hard to buy for.

He also lives out of town. On Mother’s Day, I spend it with my mom since we live close by and we are very close. She loves to garden, so I take her to a nursery to find some plants that she would like to buy. Then I spend time with her planting them in her garden.
