Who has more fans, Alan Walker or Martin Garrix? And Why?

The best way to determine how many fans a musician has is by looking at how many subscribers belong to his youtube channel. Fans come and go for many musicians. They may one day be a fan of a certain artist, but then they stop listening to their music and start becoming a fan of another artist. However, fans can follow many different artists at the same time.

At one point Alan Walker had about twenty-three million subscribers to his youtube channel which means that they are probably his fans. Martin Garrix is a DJ and he also records music. Both Garrix and Walker probably share a lot of fans. However, Garrix probably has more fans because he is considered to be the highest paid DJ.
