What is the difference between Twitter and Facebook?

Twitter and Facebook are known to be different social networking websites. They are used by different people depending on their main purpose. Facebook is considered to be more popular all over the world. It allows people to stay updated on almost everything that they are interested in. Twitter will allow you to give your opinions and views while having a conversation with different people.

The conversations may sometimes be very interesting. Facebook can be used by people to share different media files about their vacation, their lifestyle, and so much more. It will be easier for people to connect with their friends and family members through Facebook as compared to Twitter.

There is no doubt, Facebook and Twitter are different popular social networking sites. The use of the two social networking sites is very common among the youth, as there is possibility of meeting new people daily as you use the sites. Both Facebook and Twitter afford their users the opportunity to post pictures and some other things. However, there are some differences between Facebook and Twitter. The first different I'm pointing out is that, Facebook is still the best in that, it gives people the opportunity to get to know other people and most times, relationship are being built through Facebook, Twitter does not really give the opportunity.

Also, tweets posted on Twitter have a greater chance to trend faster than things posted on Facebook. Different TV stations make use of twitter to get feedbacks from their followers because tweets trend more easily on twitter compared to Facebook. Also, when you post something on Facebook, you can still see them on people's timeline even after some days, but tweets on Twitter disappear very fast.
