The importance of Lymph and Blood in the body cannot be overemphasized. These are the two types of fluids in the body that help in the circulation of various materials in the body, in other words, they are circulating fluids in the body. However, there are some noticeable differences between lymph and bloo. Lymph can be defined as a colorless, bodily fluid carried by the lymphatic system, and it consists mainly of white blood cells.
Blood, on the other hand, is a vital red liquid which flows in the body of many organisms and help in the circulation of nutrients and oxygen throughout the body. Blood circulates through arteries and vein after it is pumped by the heart, while lymph circulates lymph nodes, capillaries and lymph vessels. The protein concentration of blood is high, while the protein concentration of lymph is low. Blood contains red blood cells, while lymph contains white blood cells.
