Certified mail is the type of mail that will come with proof of billing and delivery. The person that the letter is addressed to would need to sign the mail when he/she receives it. Registered mail means that this has been sent from another place and the post office already has proof that they have received it, but you do not need to sign forms that will prove that you have received the letter.

Certified and Registered Mail are two ways of sending mails through postal office. Sending of mails through Postal offices can be regarded as an ancient way of delivering messages, although a lot of people and a great number of business organizations are still using it. Certified mail simply means a kind of special mail delivery service that requires the sender to fill a special bill that shows he truly used the service and upon delivery to the recipient, the receiver's signature will also be provided.

A certified mail is a type of letter that has been received by the recipient with the proof of delivery and billing. The person who gets this type of mail would need to affix his/her signature as proof that the letter was received. Registered mail is different because it can just be sent to the recipient directly without having to worry whether it will be accepted or not because the post office already has a record of this.

There are different types of mail that you can receive that may be certified or registered. Take note that between the two, certified mail is known to be cheaper while registered mail would require more stamps to be sent.
