What is the difference between Heat and Temperature?

Heat and temperature are related to each other, but you should not think that they are the same. You should remember that temperature may refer not only to heat but also to the cold. The temperature will let you know how hot or how cold the current environment is or the object that you are holding is.

Without temperature, you may just need to base it on how you are feeling. Heat obviously refers to the energy of an object or substance. There are some compounds that will give a heat reaction because of what they will be exposed to mixed to. Heat is constantly being transported from one object to another.

Heat and temperature are different. Heat refers to the energy that may be contained by the molecules of a particular object. The weather tends to move from the hotter region going somewhere cooler. Temperature, on the other hand, refers to both hot and cold. It will measure how hot or how severe a particular area is.

The temperature will also determine if there is something too hot or too cold. This is important for different activities that people have to do like traveling, wherein they have to think about the clothes that they will pack and cooking wherein the right temperature can be crucial.
