Apart from the academic setting where you will be taught and imparted with skills, and other things like how to relate with people in the society, there are other organizations that are not based on imparting academics kind of discipline on people, for example mathematics, biology. But they are also imparting values, disciplines into the people so that they can be a responsible member of the society. Different kinds of organizations like fraternities, sororities are known for training male and female and bringing them into brotherhood and sisterhood respectively.

Apart from the academic setting where you will be taught and imparted with skills, and other things
These groups can be religious based, cultural and others. Two example of sororities known are Alpha Kappa Alpha and Delta Sigma Theta. The major difference between the two sororities is actually on how they are established. Alpha Kappa Alpha was created at Howard University in 1908, five years after some members of the group left to form another group known as Delta Sigma Theta. This shows that Alpha Kappa Alpha is older than Delta Sigma Theta
