People with great intelligence offer great ideas and theories. There were several fields of science on which scientists performed in the past. The fields include chemical science, physical science, social science, environmental science, biological science, and natural science. Two of the great scientists of the past that are highly recognized in the field of natural science are Charles Darwin and Jean Baptiste Lamarck.
Charles Darwin, the English man, is a naturalist that postulated the theories of evolution, which believed that every creature has its own ancestors and that a creature evolves into another thing over a long period of time due to the inheritance of some acquired features. In the year 1859, he published a book titled "On the origin of species," which explains how creatures are evolved into what they are today. However, Jean Baptiste Lamarck is French. He was a botanist and a professor in zoology, plus before which he was a soldier before he became a naturalist. He also worked further on the theory of evolution, proving that creatures evolve due to the part of the used and unused body.
