Abortion is still considered to be legal in Alabama. There are still a lot of people who support abortion in the state. The Alabama Abortion Law Ban is one of the laws passed last May 15, 2019, wherein all types of abortion will start to become illegal by November of 2019.
There are a lot of protests that are going on about this because a lot of people are saying that even though people are pro-life, they may still want to get abortions because of different reasons.
For instance, some may want to get an abortion because it is causing some health problems. Saving the life of the mother is also a pro-life gesture. Time will tell if this would truly take place soon.

Alabama abortion law is something that has generated a lot of public discussions and outrages. Many people are not pleased with the new law. The new law about abortion is considered to be very stringent to follow. This is what the law says. It forbids the people of the state from performing abortion in almost every circumstance. With the new law on abortion, it means abortion has become a very serious offence to commit.
The only exception the law specifically spells out is on the health ground. This means you are only privilege to abort your pregnancy on the account that the continuous stay of the foetus in the womb can jeopardize the mother's health. There is no exception to the abortion of pregnancy due to rapes. The law does not exempt the doctors from being prosecuted if they are caught performing abortion. However, the reason for the new law on abortion has been clearly explained.
Recently, the Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed a restrictive abortion bill into law. This is in a bid to toughen the anti-abortion law, making Alabama the state with the most stringent anti-abortion law. However, many are not having to take this issue on a lighter note, as hundreds of demonstrators have marched to the state capitol to protest their displeasure in the newly approved abortion bill that has been put into law.
The newly approved law is yet to take effect, and are expected to be challenged in court as the judge overturns the decision of the Supreme Court made last year by Justice Brett Kavanaugh to make abortion obtainable anywhere in the United States.
