Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B are both virus infections but there are many differences between the two. Hepatitis B can be contacted only when there is blood to blood contact with an infected person, but Hepatitis A can only be contacted through oral or fecal transmission. That is, Hepatitis A can be contacted by drinking from water that has been contaminated or food that has been contaminated. Or when you eat food prepared by an infected person. It should be noted that Hepatitis B cannot be gotten through handshaking or through eating from a meal prepared by an infected person.
