The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 has megapixels of 8 while the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 has 10 mp. The max image resolution of the FZ18 is 3264x2448 while the FZ28 has a 3648x2736 maximum image resolution. The sensor size of the FZ28 is slightly larger than the FZ18 with 6.08x4.56mm versus 5.75x4.32mm of the latter.
