Rubber and plastic are both fashioned of a polymerized material. There are fundamental differences between their physical and chemical properties. Rubber is a natural product, mainly garnered in the form of latex. Chemically, rubber is produced from a polymer of an organic compound called 'isoprene,' which is a fine carbon constitute with a very high final molecular weight because of the process of polymerization.
Natural rubber is heated with Sulphur to advance resistance and elasticity. Plastics are created of a wide range of synthetic and semi-synthetic polymer material, and they are usually used in industrial manufacturing of products. Plastics can be easily molded into various shapes, while rubber cannot.
You can look at both rubber and plastic and already determine what the main difference between the two is. Rubber is considered to be more elastic. You can find different items that are made out for rubber that can be stretched. Even the rubber hair ties that you use can provide the elasticity that you need so that you can easily fix your hair the way that you want to.
Plastic can be used in different ways. This is used for constructing different items, and this was used as a bag when you are purchasing your groceries. As the world started to reduce the use of plastic, people hope for a better and greener environment.

While both rubber and plastic are polymers. Though it is a polymer, rubber is more so known for being an elastomer, which is a variation of a polymer that is more elastic and viscous. There are about 10,000 different types of plastics.
The various types are grouped by identifiers such as quality and design. Plastic is used in things such as construction and bottles for beverages. Rubber is used in industrial purposes, such as tires. Both plastics and rubber have synthetic types. Synthetic plastic is made from a combination of natural gas and petroleum, while synthetic rubber is made from crude oil.
