HiFi is the abbreviation for High Fidelity. The short form can also be rewritten as Hi-Fi. There are so many people who think Hi-fi has a connection with Wi-Fi. Hi-fi is the word used for high quality production. The acronym is mostly used by audiophiles and listeners of music with good-quality production. The fact that there is high quality audio production means there would be low-quality.
When you use inexpensive gadgets or low-quality audio equipment for your sound productions, you will always get a low quality sound reproduction. Before late 1940s, the kind of audio recordings at that time were not as good as those ones we are having presently.
It has been researched that people love listening to high quality audio reproduction than low quality sound reproduction. There are also High-Fidelity equipments which are used to produce refined sounds and high-quality reproduction. Those equipments have inaudible noise and distortion, and a flat frequency response within the human hearing range.
