Everyone knows that Police is not an acronym for anything. There is no word that can be used to quantify the tireless efforts of the Police towards achieving a stable society. Can we just imagine how dangerous our society will be if not for the patriotic and selfless services of the police. However, there are many bad eggs among the police and this is really affecting the good reputation of the police.
Many of their men are known for corrupt practices, some will even be asking for bribe so as to absolve a criminal of a crime committed. But if I were to make a full form of the word POLICE, it would be Private Officer for Local and Criminal Establishment. The rate at which criminal activities is multiplying calls for a good policing strategy to combat the increasing rate of criminal acts in our society. Hence, a security agency like this should be established.

Police is already a word in its full form but let us say that you would like to make the word police an abbreviation for something. What would it be? People On Local Investigation and Civil Events. There are some police who need to go undercover especially when they are observing certain events that are taking place.
Instead of showing that they are present by wearing their uniform, their goal is to fit in with the rest of the crowd. This will allow them to observe and pick up certain information that they would not have known if they were wearing their uniform. The police, in general, are responsible for making sure that crimes will be lessened.
