Why and when did PewDiePie decide to quit YouTube?

PewDiepie is a gamer, a comedian who releases a brand of funny videos on his YouTube channel, he is also a video game commentator. Lately the news has been awashed with a claim credited to PewDiepie that, he's going to delete his YouTube channel which currently has about 96 million subscribers. PewDiepie's decision to delete his YouTube channel might not be unconnected with his recent claim that YouTube is killing his YouTube channel by reducing the number of subscribers and also depriving his subscribers the chance to view some videos on his channel.

The decision is something that appears to be one of PewDiepie's joke to his subscribers. However, he has decided to delete his current account on YouTube when his YouTube channel hits 90 million. Another thing to note is that, he did not say he would quit YouTube but only that he's going to delete his current account.
