When was Days Gone initially supposed to be released?

Days Gone was released recently on April 26, 2019. It seems that that is quite late to release a video game that was first created in 2015. It seems that four years is an awfully long time to create a video game, but I know that it takes a lot of work to go into that production of the video game.

It takes quite a few people to do that. They first have to hire or assign employees to spend most of their working time on this project. Sony interaction Entertainment is the company that developed this video game. The directors were John Garvin and Jeff Ross. The producer was Darren Yager and the designer was Ron Allen. The programmer was John Hoffman and the artist was Donald Yatomi.
